The summer is finally over and we look forward to the last 4 months of the Year. Today I’m posting this painting made with acrylic on canvas. It’s a beautiful piece done from my dreamy fantasy world. Sometimes it best to listen and be different inhale and let your mind take you to that special place.

Some people struggle to find a way to make a portrait look soft. I found a nice trick to softening my portrait in Adobe lightroom. In lightroom Click on the brush tool, follow by going below and clicking on Exposure and go to the menu that says Soften skin and you will be ready to start working. Brush around the face areas that you want soft, while avoiding the eyes and lips of course. To view if you missed a spot click on the black dot and this will show like a mask of the areas brushed by you. Continue to do this until you are satisfy. Once your done you may want to consider the level of the Soft Skin Effect you like for this photo I used about 52% percent. But you can choose whatever you think is right.
